Fosko Foundation

Fosko began operations in the paper industry, producing items for ice cream, chocolates, peanuts, popcorn, and promotional figure albums — all made of paper.

1981

New Industrial Transformation

Juan Milstein Wainstein acquired the company, setting a new course toward technological innovation in plastic injection.
That same year, paper containers were replaced with plastic ones, offering better preservation, reusability, and food safety.
Injection machinery with in-house mold making was incorporated, and production expanded to promotional products, household items, containers for sweeteners, and laboratory goods.

Fosko products began exporting to Latin America, Central America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
Since then, the brand has achieved global presence across five continents.

Mass Export and Intellectual Property

More than 20 original ice cream stick designs were developed — including models such as Ice Cream Sticks, Lanzagua, Mekano, Hélice, Palo Rico, Palo Silbato, Spiner, and others.
These designs were licensed to Nestlé, Unilever, and other major companies, surpassing 2.5 billion units sold worldwide.

IML Technology and Sustainability

Fosko introduced Italian In-Mold Labeling (IML) technology and thin-wall injection to Chile, achieving up to 45% reduction in material use.
It developed 100% recyclable, reusable containers compliant with REP Law regulations.
The company strengthened its leadership in innovation, customized design, and sustainable, high-value packaging solutions.
